The Principality of Rosellia claims sovereignty on the grounds of egalitarianism. Our government operates without political parties, as we believe in unity and individual merit over ideological division. We are led by a Prime Minister and supported by a small Council of Ministers, forming a non-partisan system designed for efficiency and inclusiveness. All positions are appointed based on trust, experience, and dedication, with a clear line of succession through the Deputy Prime Minister rather than through elections or hereditary rule.
HISTORY
Within the Rosellian borders, there is immense history ready to be explored. From our timeless palace and its historical relics to the stories that follow, we take pride nationally through our shared tales. Outside the palace stands trees testing the time, showing our true resilience as proud Rosellian citizens. We hope our nation can work to preserve the wonder that stands.
ABOUT US
Rosellia is an extraordinarily small principality located by Oswego, New York, covering just 0.02 km² (0.01 mi²). Though called a principality, it is led by a non-hereditary Prime Minister rather than a monarch. The government is fully non-partisan, with all officials appointed based on merit and trust. Esperanto and English are the official languages, and the proposed national currency is the Rosellian Franc (R₣). Despite its size, Rosellia maintains a strong cultural identity and an active presence in international micronational circles.
